You know how sometimes life just gets to be a tad bit much and you just need a break?? Welp, that’s EXACTLY how I’ve felt over the past couple weeks. It’s so normal to neglect yourself and push your sanity to the limits. Needless to say, this weekend’s peaceful getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia was just what the doctor ordered. Kevin and I went with an AWESOME new group of people (lovingly referred to as the Tribe) who share our love of travel and new experiences. It also totally did NOT hurt things that one of the ladies in the cabin had the most insane culinary skills. (Seriously, she basically cooked every meal from scratch for the whole cabin.) To sum it all up, this is how my weekend went…
- I slept.
- I meditated.
- I prayed.
- I laughed.
- I ate.
- I drank.
- I listened.
- I conversed.
- I joked.
- I breathed.
- I paused.
- I existed.
- I loved.
- I lived.
- I chased photos.
I’ll stop typing now and just let the images tell the REAL story…
