During the holiday season, we can sometimes get so busy with shopping, planning, eating, etc. that we can easily lose sight of what is truly important. I recently spent an evening photographing the red carpet at Mark Carroll & Friends 9th Annual Toy Drive benefiting the Hosea Williams Foundation here in Atlanta. The event was complete with a silent auction, toy donations, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Atlanta Falcon Cheerleaders and hundreds of people wanting to give back. Mark Carroll himself has a exuberant personality that falls right in step with the wonderful spirit of giving. Elizabeth Omilami (daughter of Hosea Williams) and her husband, Afemo, were both in attendance to help celebrate and raise funds.
