Just about every year, I go on a cruise with AE Travel Agency and I love the owners like family. This Summer, I was commissioned to shoot pictures for a voyage to Nassau, Bahamas. I was blessed enough to get some shots during the annual Bahamian Independence celebration in July. Food + people + dancing + fireworks + the ocean = good times. Best of all, the people there welcomed our group of 50+ like we were their relatives. Who knows? We probably are relatives that were dropped off in different global locations generations ago by creaky ships. When I looked into their faces, I saw my cousin, sister, mother, brother, etc. Maybe that’s why a part of me felt so at home…
