Sometimes, meeting recording artists can be a let-down. Let’s face it…egos, entourages, and studio voices are not what real music is all about. So when I was asked to photograph Miguel during an ASCAP Event, I was praying that he would break the “temperamental artist” stereotype.  After all, I am a fan and his album lives on my iPod. Gracias a Dios! He was humble, pleasant, and punctual. Most importantly, he is an honest songwriter with genuine talent. Please check the short clip of his performance below. I love my job!
